I finally got around to browsing the collection and naturally, I typed in the keyword "map". One of the many results was this less than appetizing array of martinis:

Map of the US w.Martini glasses either empty or filled w. varied portions of black liquid representing the amount of air particulates in the state on which they rest As a result of the US Dept. of Health's "Air Pollution Measurements fr. 1957-1961.I guess if you were going to drink the polluted air, the best place to be was in the Rocky Mountains, and stay away from
Location: US
Date taken: November 1963
I apparently live in the heart of Full Martiniville. You should have a drinkable / comestible map tag.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "map tag".
ReplyDeleteYou are mistakenly confusing Gary, Indiana and Chicago, Illinois. Gary is home to a great deal of industrial factories. Take a closer look at the map and you'll see that martini glass is indeed located in Indiana. Please consider correcting your blog post.
ReplyDeleteChicagoans are soooo sensetive... :-)
ReplyDeleteWe just love our city. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the correction. Let's hope that environmental technologies will turn all these dirty cities into savvy green centers of commerce to help turn our nation around.
