Cartophilia: Maps and Map Memorabilia
Stamps, postcards, advertising, coffee mugs, shirts, and other ephemera. I love maps, and maps as an element of design.

Where do I buy one?
Well, if you are looking for my next Father's day gift:

That's an interesting pair. The tie on the left is clearly a map tie. The one on the right I'd say is more about the animals than the map. The map is playing a supporting role. Though it's neat how the penguin is at the bottom of Argentina where they reside. And the whale lunging out of the water about to bellyflop on the land is a nice touch.
How nice to see some ties from my website "Whatdidyoubringme?" on your blog. I like to think I have the best selection anywhere. I have had to split the page into hemispheres to help it load faster and I have two more for city street map ties in each hemisphere. I put the Africa map with the animals in a category I call biogeography. By way of a thank you, I would like to offer you and your readers free shipping on necktie orders if you mention Cartophilia and this blog in your orders.
Thanks for the offer, I'll pass it on.
