Mexico vs. Great Britain
Sam Hughes likes to write and post Things of Interest. Of interest to me today is The Great British Venn Diagram. This handy diagram helps to clarify (for those who seem to have trouble keeping it straight) the difference between England, Great Britain, the British Isles and the United Kingdom.

Why isn't New Mexico in that diagram?
ummmm.... because New Mexico isn't part of Mexico, Mexico or Mexico?
That comment was intended as an off-hand reference to stories I've heard in recent years about persons (in the US) thinking that New Mexico was a foreign country.
I recall an NPR story several years ago describing how a prospective student (US citizen) was conducting by phone some sort of registration tasks with a US college and when the student said he lived in New Mexico, he was told because he lived in a "foreign country" he would have to...
LOL!
Yes, I've seen some of those stories.
Er... the Isle of Man is missing. :-P
Hughes does at least mention Man in his article.
um, Mexico City is in Distrito Federal, which is adjacent to the State of Mexico and not inside it..
OK... I'll take your word for it. You may wish to correct the actual map/diagram maker:

In the second diagram i can find the full informations related to Mexican city and please explain or point out more informations in the first diagram and Mexican comparatives.
I am sorry I do not completely understand your question. However, if you would like more detailed information on these diagrams, I suggest to go to the pages were they came from. The links are in the post.
