The Ignorant View of the World
I saw this cartoonish map on BuzzFeed the other day, but had not intended to blog about it:
Since I could not determine the source of the map, I could not decide if the author was being ignorant or ironic.
But then today a friend sent this one to me, and decided I am now seeing a theme...
I think someone is trying to suggest that U.S. Americans are a bit ignorant of geography.
Tell that to Eric Yang!

The top one is more ironic and clever than the bottom one. And then there's Miss South Carolina who is neither ironic or clever.
Where is the beer-making state? Maybe that is Nebraska, USA
I didn't know there were gays in Iowa.
Iowa recently became the first Midwestern state to allow legal gay marriage. However, I'm sure there is no such thing as a gay farm boy, so I'm sure there are no actual gay people in the state... ;-)
