Your in a Good Pool with Allstate
In this same July/August 2009 issue of The Atlantic magazine I mentioned last week, I came across this advertisement from Allstate Insurance:
The text copy that ran with the ad basically says, "Hey, don't just regulate us. If your going to regulate us, regulate everyone."
Whatever. I just like the illustration.

Actually, I think that ad is trying to get across the point of not strictly regulating mortgage lenders and investment firms. People may forget that insurance companies help make up the financial industry, so the government way want to consider all category players.
My goodness, Investment Banks sure have saucy buttocks.
I couldn't find a contact link on the home page, so I apologize posting a comment that doesn't relate to this specific blog post. But BibliOdyssey has a new post with some great "satricial" vintage maps:

Eric, excellent tip. I'm right on it. Thanks!
Under the FAQ on the right column, there is a link to "Caveats, Disclaimers and Contact Info"... but you're right. To make it harder to send me spam, I don't make my email address very easy to find... Feel free to send map ideas to me at "admin (a with a circle) cartophilia.com"
